Lions record falls to 3-2 and are in 4th place in the league. Ardis Graham, back from injured reserve, scored first in the first period with an assist by Alex Shelton.
In the second period, Greg Kinman scored with assists from Cole Wright and Rishi Kshatriya, and Arlington answered with two goals of their own, both scored on power plays.
In the third period, Arlington scored twice more before the Lions could respond with a goal by Cole Wright, assisted by Austin Healey. Lions remained tough and stood up to Arlington. Just not enough time on the clock for the Lions in this game.

Somewhere in this game there was a fast funky goal scored by Jackson Stager as well, however, we're not quite sure when or how that occurred. Anybody know?

Lions Suffer First Loss to Birdville
St. Mark's Lions lose to Birdville, a team twice their size, in a tough competition. Lions stepped up to the plate playing with a shorter bench than normal due to injuries last week to Jackson Stager (right hand) and this week to Ardis Graham (left knee). Lions remained scoreless in the first two periods, but in the third period, Jackson Stager and Garrett Watumull are able to connect with Greg Kinman for the only goal scored in the game. Lions, who are 2-1, are currently in third place in the league behind Birdville and Plano, who both remain undefeated at 3-0.

St. Mark's Remains Undefeated. Beats Allen 4-1!
After Sunday night's game, St. Mark's is currently ranked second in the league. We will face the number one ranked team, Birdville, next Sunday the 16th. Eric Rawot (4:26) scored in the first period with an assist from Thomas Brown. In the second period, Rawot assisted Alex Shelton for St. Mark's second goal of the game during a power play. Apparently Allen was serving donuts in the penalty box attracting at least 4 Allen players to gather in the box for the delicious confections.
Greg Kinman and Cole Wright each scored in the third period with assists on both goals from Rishi Kshatriya.
