St. Mark's Lions Hockey Team Sweeps the Leveling Tournament with a 3-0 record

St. Mark's Lions win all three games in the 2011 Leveling tournament. In their first game against Lovejoy, Lions win 9-3. Second game against Plano, Lions win 4-2, and third game against Keller, Lions prevail 3-0. Be sure to check out the game pictures! Way to go Lions!

Austin Healey #17

Austin Healey, son of Peggy and Chip, is a freshman home school student from Krum, Texas. Austin formerly played on a NTXHL Stars Select Plano team. For Austin and his parents, the St. Mark's Lions Hockey team is an answer to prayer. Peggy states "from the integrity, sportsmanship and camaraderie of the team, to the leadership and mentorship of the coaches, to the parents who express positive encouragement and make us feel like part of your "family," this organization is exactly what we have been searching for. We are blessed." And we are blessed to have Austin, Peggy and Chip with us!

Alex Shelton #44

Alex Shelton is a Class of 2012 student from S&S High School in Sadler near Sherman, Texas. Alex's ISD does not have a team, and we are thrilled that Eric, Rishi and Thomas know of him through their summer 4 on 4 team games! Alex had wanted to play hockey since he was 5 and did not get the opportunity until a year and a half ago. He is very proud to be playing for St. Mark's and is really looking forward to the start of the season. Alex plans on going into physical therapy after high school. Alex's mom and dad are Steve and Cathy Shelton, and they are thrilled to be with the parents and players of St. Mark's hockey, and appreciate the warm welcome. We are glad to have you!
